The need to bring Czech law into line with that of the EU and the increasing interest in European Community issues are the reasons behind the establishment of the Centre for European Union Law. The documents are catalogued in the aRL library system and are indexed by the Eurovoc thesaurus.

The Parliamentary Library subscribes to the Official Journal of the EC, Reports of Cases Before the Court of Justice and the Reports of Cases Before the Court of the First Instance of the EC.
